Academy Animal Hospital

Academy Animal Hospital is great! We have taken our cat to a couple of the vets and they have all been helpful and knowledgeable and willing to do what they can to help with some complicated health issues. The vet techs are always so kind and sweet with our cat. She gets really scared at the vet and they are always very patient.

Thank you to all the veterinarians and staff who took excellent care of my and my mom's pets over the years. You give high quality care to animals. It is always greatly appreciated when you treat another person's pet as if they were your own. A special shout out to Dr. Z, your dedication, care and love to animals over your lifetime is immeasurable. Thank you very much!

I have been taking my dog to Academy Animal Hospital for 11 years. The professionalism and care that everyone on the staff has for me and my dog is stellar. The technical knowledge of the vets, vet techs are top notch and I would not take my dog anywhere else for her primary care. The front desk reps are also really delightful and always make me and my dog feel welcome.

All of the vets here have been wonderful during my first year as a dog mom, but this review is specifically for Dr. Bartz, who I am SO incredibly grateful for. My pup recently got sick with multiple things and she really calmed me down! Her approach was practical yet thoughtful, and she followed up with me MULTIPLE times to check in on my sick puppy, and also pivoted treatment plan when necessary. I believe she recently joined the practice and she is a fantastic addition. So grateful for Dr. Julie Bartz! Dr. Reiman and the front desk were also very helpful during this crazy month of illnesses. I am happy to report he is back to his happy, healthy self. Thank you, team!

In general, as a client I have always had positive experiences with Academy and their staff. My dog is particularly anxious and frightened of the vet experience and all staff and veterinarians we have worked with have been sympathetic and tried to assist in making any vet visits as smooth as possible. Everyone I’ve spoken with there has always had the animal’s best outcome in mind. My one draw back is the waiting room experience, I wish it could be streamlined so that there was a notification system for you to bring in your animal to the building. I feel like the waiting process (although minimal) can add to anxiety for some animals.
