Academy Animal Hospital Boarding
At Academy Animal Hospital we offer veterinary-supervised pet boarding on a limited basis. Our facilities are modern, clean, and maintained by professional veterinary staff. We have a centrally-monitored alarm system for fire or burglary and a doctor “on-call.”

We take the responsibility of boarding pets seriously. All pets must have had a physical exam with one of our doctors within the year. All pets will receive a brief admission exam by the nurse at no charge. This brief exam does not replace the need for an annual physical exam by the veterinarian.
BOARDING FEES: our fees are competitive with boarding facilities in the area. There is no extra charge for veterinary supervision. However, there are additional fees for exams, medications and special care. Should a pet suffer from a medical condition such as diarrhea or vomiting, the veterinarian will be notified immediately and there will be a no-fee exam provided. We will attempt to contact the owner. If a pet becomes ill while boarding, fees will be incurred for examination and treatment.
FEEDING: We regularly feed an appropriate life-stage food from our hospital inventory. Appetite and water consumption, as well as urinations and bowel movements, are monitored and documented for each pet. You may bring your pet’s regular food and/or treats for feeding while boarding.
EXERCISE: Dogs will be walked two or three times daily in our hospital yard. If friendly, dogs may be walked together with other dogs. Cats may be allowed to walk around our separate cat boarding room to stretch their legs.
All pets will wear a hospital ID collar. We highly recommend MICROCHIPS for all dogs and cats!
THANK YOU FOR ENTRUSTING YOUR PET WITH US!
